Dr. Henry Yin’s lab
at Duke University is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow.
Responsibilities include performing research on cortico-basal ganglia
circuit mechanisms underlying learning and expression of goal-directed
actions. The candidate will not be required to apply for external
fellowships, as this position is supported by long-term NIH funding.
This position has full benefits and salary will be determined based on current NIH scales. The initial appointment will be for at least one year, with renewal based on continuation of grant support and success in the position.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience or related fields. Experience working with rodents is required, and a strong background in areas like in vitro brain slice electrophysiology, in vivo single unit electrophysiology, microscopy, or molecular biology is also highly desirable.
