Nikon Eclipse FN1
An upright, fixed stage microscope developed to meet the rigorous demands of electrophysiological research.
The FN1 has a completely redesigned optical system that includes the world's first water dipping objective with depth-induced aberration correction.
The new optics deliver longer working distances, slimmer profiles, better approach angles, and aberration-free images.
The focus knob and field diaphragm ring are on the front for easy operation with a fixed stage. An optional remote handle enables ON/OFF and light intensity adjustment.
Safe and easy objective change
The sliding nosepiece helps to reduce specimen disturbance when changing objectives.
Simple insertion of microelectrodes
New physiological water dipping objectives feature working distances of up to 3.5 mm, with slimmer profiles and a 45-degree approach angle for easy pipette placement.
Lift the microscope between 10 and 30 mm to facilitate large specimen observation. Moreover, the condenser, sub-stage and turret can be removed for more free space.
